HVAC - Noise Control Materials

HVAC systems including chilled water fancoil units and cassettes, ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems, all share one thing in common: Air Movement.

Air movment gives rise to a number of considerations primarlly, fan noise, turbulance and duct borne noise.

The industry has ever increasing demands to improve the acoustic performance of their air handling units whilst maintaining their competitive edge. Therefore Noise Control Engineering is required to meet these needs.

In addition to acoustic materials which need to be dust and fibre free, there can be an additional requirement for thermal materials, particularly in close proximety to chilled elements.

Siderise are able to offer advice and customised material lining kits to suit any air conditioning or air handling unit or acoustic requirement. Some of the primary materials utilised are indicated below, however consultation with our technical team is advised to ensure the most effective solution is sought.
