Acoustic Insulation

Siderise have a wide range of acoustic insulation composites available which can be engineered specifically to the application required.

Typically an acoustic insulation composite would include an absoptive layer of acoustic foam, then a limp high mass layer in either lead or polymeric barrier, then a spacing layer or 'isolation' layer.

Additionally an insulation composite can be supplied with a high performance modified acrylic self adhesive, or finished with a wide variety of facing materials, which can be selected for their acoustic performance, fire properties, robustness or decorative effect.

These composites can be used to line an acoustic enclosure and thereby increase its Sound Reduction Index (SRI).
