Lamapro Acoustic Barrier is a high performance flexible sound insulation barrier that provides both noise reduction and anti-resonant properties.
When used in combination with acoustic absorbents it can provide exceptional noise control performance for both acoustic enclosures and equipment treatments.
Acoustic barriers are a highly effective secondary treatment to existing partitions or enclosures and provide an increased acoustic performance due to their high mass. An acoustic barrier works by impeding the sound wave and the greater the mass the greater the sound insulation performance. With every doubling of mass or doubling of frequency there is typically a 5dB improvement in sound insulation.
