Lamatherm meets Certifire
Siderise is proud to announce Certifire certification of our Lamatherm Curtain Wall range of Firestop products.
The Certifire brand offers the highest level of assurance of fire performance available in the UK. Products must satisfy the requirements of detailed Technical Schedules that prescribes the performance and design characteristics required of a product to satisfactorily perform its fire protection function. The Schedules, drafted by experts largely from manufacturers, draw on British or harmonized European tests where available and are state-of-the-art performance specifications.
CERTIFIRE is an independent third party product certification at a higher level, a quality mark, designed to enable manufacturers to demonstrate a difference between their products and those satisfying only the minimum requirement to be placed on the market. The main additional requirements for CERTIFIRE over and above attestation for CE Marking are ISO9001: 2000 certification, independent audit testing and a comprehensive field of application document based on carefully chosen tests.
